About this Position

In this role, you will have the chance to dive into Cheetah’s data.  The insights you generate will help our company to make educated and data-driven decisions.  We work with stakeholders across the company, using data to impact every aspect of the way we operate the business.

You will be responsible for understanding the current drivers of our company, building models and algorithms to improve our product, operations and finances, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to implement your solutions. We are looking for a data analyst who loves tackling difficult problems and creating world-class experiences for users.  You are data-driven, analytical, and have a sincere passion for helping restaurants and small businesses succeed!


  • Simplify complex problems & large data sets to extract non-obvious insights
  • Build models to track and project key business metrics – unit costs, revenue per order, etc.
  • Define data systems and tools with partnering teams to produce dashboards and other business intelligence reports
  • Develop scalable reporting solutions for stakeholders
  • Be part of a great team, but capable of operating independently – managing relationships, deliverables and expectations with your business partners
  • Remain detail-oriented while working across a wide variety of projects

  • Bachelor’s degree with quantitative coursework, preferably in Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics or Finance
  • 1+ years of professional experience in data science, business analytics, product analytics, business intelligence, or consulting
  • Experience with Database Management systems and/or coding/scripting (Redshift, MySQL, Python, R)
  • Strong speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire and motivate others
  • Ability to summarize key insights for both technical and non-technical audiences

Nice To Have:

  • Master’s degree with quantitative coursework
  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • 2+ years of Python experience
